Please change your discriprion of the Parkway. It is no longer first come/ first served. Sites must be reserved and paid online.

  2. Michael Thrower says:

We have a reservation for Rincon Parkway for this upcoming April 4th-7,
2020, but do not see any closure for Covid 19 on your site, need to know please

  3. what is check-in and check-out time @ rincon parkway camping?

    • Hi Karen
Rincon Parkway campground has a 2pm check in and 12pm check out.

      • Hello, this is actually incorrect. Check out time for all Ventura County Parks (including Rincon) is 11:00am and check in is 12:00pm. This is not a new change, this has always been the check in/check out times. A correction would really help campers out as this website comes up first when googling the Rincon unfortunately. Thank you.

      • Hi Marie,
Thanks for the heads up on the Ventura County Park campground check-in / check-out times. We have updated/corrected the information.

  4. The parking spaces are numbered. Is #1 at the south end and #127 at the north end or vice versa? Thank you.

  5. We have a reservation for site 35. What are the dimensions of this site? Thank you
    Neil

  6. joyce carol says:

It is not clear to me if I can or cannot make a reservation for Faria, Rincon Parkway, or Hobson online. My family would like to visit beginning April 12, or 13, or 14. We need to be near stairs as two of us are unable to scramble down rocks. We would prefer Rincon Parkway, if available for one or two days.

    • Hi Joyce,
After clicking on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button you’ll be directed to the Ventura County Parks reservation website. From there, you can select the campground from the list to check availability, pricing and make reservations.

  7. What time does venturaparks.org open up campsites for reservations? Is it 8am PST like reserve california or is it midnight?
We are looking specifically to reserve at RINCON and I know they open up days 90 days in advance, but I can’t tell what time I need to be online by to get a chance at reserving a spot. TIA

    • Ventura County Parks & Rec page does not indicated what time the reservations open. I recommend you call or email them to confirm:

      (805) 654-3951 / county.parks@ventura.org

Reservations can be made online 48 hours to 12 months before your date of arrival. All reservations for beach parks will now have the following reservation windows: Faria and Hobson are 48 hours to 180 days out and Rincon is 48 to 90 days out. A Reservation fee of $22.00 shall be charged for group reservations, and $15 for individual reservations and $8 if booked online or using the Mobile Payment (reservation fees are non-refundable). The first change to a reservation is free as a courtesy additional changes will incur a $15 charge per change with a maximum of 3 changes.

  8. Is there a site map for Rincon Parkway? Can’t find it anywhere

    • Hi Caren,
There isn’t a campground map available. All the sites are the same – parallel parking along the coast and Pacific Coast Highway. There are 127 reservable single-family campsites for self-contained trailers or RV campers. Campsite #1 is on the northern end and continues to campsite #127 on the southern end of the campground. Here is a partial aerial view of the northern end. You can do a Google Map search for ‘Rincon Parkway’ to also see the layout/sites.

I have a reservation for Rincon Parkway and I’m wondering how I check in? We arrive on a Sunday

  10. jim sappington says:

Hi, The site states “no dump station”. Do you know if a camper here would be allowed to use a dump station at one of the other nearby Ventura Co. campgrounds?

  11. Ellie De Young says:

Do you know what sites the vault toilets
are located at? We use them during the day. We do have a bathroom in our RV but
like to use the vault toilets during the day.
    Thank you.
    Ellie De Young

  12. R Deleon says:

Was the Rincon parkway damaged or closed this past week from all the rains

  13. Vincent says:

Is there a map that shows the shore line and the parking space numbers for Rincon Parkway? Sure would be nice to see a video taken by a drone of the area…

  14. Lynn Hadley says:

Your photos for the individual sites aren’t coming up. Only a few to mention! Is there a problem with your site? I wanted to check on a couple of individual sites, but I can’t. A couple of weeks ago all of the photos were up and running!

    • Hi Lynn,

All systems normal and working good. We only have 10 pictures of Rincon Parkway. Didn’t bother to get a photo of each site as they are all pretty much the same. I’ll see if we can get all campsites photographed later this year.

  15. Stephanie says:

Hi, you said your campsite accommodates 45 foot trailers. Does that leave any room for a car or is that the entire space? If so, what average foot trailer would fit with a car?

    • Hi Stephanie,
The parking area for campsite at Rincon Parkway is 15 to 17 feet wide by 46 feet long. So the total length of a trailer and towing vehicle needs to be less than 46 feet.

  16. richard speckman says:

Hi, do you know when you may have individual site photos of Rincon Parkway camp spots? all sites are not alike, some have a retaining wall in front of a spot, some have huge boulders, some have low rocks with better views, thanks!
