Sunset campground in Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park offers 157 campsites  for tents, trailers and RVs. Group camping is also available. The campsites are scattered among a beautiful evergreen forest of pine, cedar and sequoia trees. Each campsite has a table, fire ring, grate and food storage locker.

Sunset campground has drinking water, flush toilets and firewood for sale from the campground host. The campground also has Wifi access and horse stalls.  You can also find a market, restaurant, gift shop and showers next to the visitor center (1/4 mile from the campground). Cell service is poor.

There are many sites to see and places to explore at Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park. In addition to the big Sequoia trees and old growth forests, you’ll find huge granite and marble formations, deep canyons, rivers, towering peaks and even miles of underground caverns. There are also miles of trails to hike and a variety of wildlife to see.

Outdoor recreation includes hiking, mountain biking, rafting, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campground options in Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park are Dorst Creek, Crystal Springs, LodgepoleAzalea, Potwisha and Buckeye Flat.
