Wishon Overview
Wishon Campground has 35 campsites and is located along the North Fork of the Middle Fork of the Tule River in the Sequoia National Forest. Hossack creek also runs by the campground. There are 27 reservable campsites and the rest are first-come, first-serve. Campsites 20 and 21 are particularly sweet – right along the river.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 24 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include potable (drinking) water (May through September) and vault toilets. There’s also 5 bear boxes at 5 separate sites.
Wishon – Area Recreation and Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting, OHV riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the area include Coy Flat, Quaking Aspen, Redwood Meadow and Holey Meadow.
