Kenosha Pass Campground PSICC Colorado
Kenosha Pass Overview
Kenosha Pass campground has 25 single-family campsites and offers some spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and quite a display of fall colors when the Aspens start to change. The campground is named after one of the country’s highest mountain passes (10,000 feet) so get ready for some chilly nights even in the summer.
Most campsites have plenty of room for a trailer. Each site also has table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilet and trash collection. Keep in mind that this is a wetland interpretative area and the remnants of the South Park and Pacific Railroad. Apparently you may get a visit from a choo choo (‘helper’ engines) that assist regular engines in getting the train to the top of the pass.

Kenosha Pass Comments & Reviews
Visited Kenosha Pass Campground lately? We'd love to hear about your adventure. Did you find us useful? Did we forget something? Anything our community should know before heading out to Kenosha Pass?
The Kenosha Pass Campground is well maintained and despite being just a few steps off of US-285, some of the campsites are a bit further back from the road and have surprisingly little traffic noise. This area has spectacular views and is really colorful in the Fall. Its also wonderfully easy to get to from Denver. That’s the only downside: Make your reservations early and don’t expect any vacancies, because it can be fully reserved months in advance. There is so much to do in this area, even for families with kids, etc. Park County is a somewhat unknown place to visit, but it’s a hidden gem in Colorado!
