Meadows Overview

Meadows 011

Meadows Campground has 30 campsites and is located at 9,300 feet on Rabbit Ears Pass near Steamboat Springs. Sites include a combo of pull-through, back in and walk-to (tent only).

The campground has both reservable and first-come, first-serve campsites. It usually open late June to Mid October. Amenities include fault toilets (no water). There’s also a camp host that sells firewood. Some cell service is available in the area.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Two of the sits are ‘walk-to’ (tent only).

Meadows – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting, OHVing, and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also nice here.

Other campgrounds in the area include Dumont, Dry Lake, Granite and Summit Lake.

  1. This campground is reservation and first come first serve. Reservable sites are 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14. Reserve through Recreation.gov
