Holder Mine Withlacoochee State Forest Overview

Holder Mine Campground has 28 campsites with water & electric hookups and is located in the Holder Mine Recreation Area. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (25 to 50 feet). Each site also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Group camping is also available. FYI – campsite #17 is best for tents or small trailers due to trees/branches.

The campground is open year round. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers and a dump station.

Outdoor Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes two hiking trails, picnicking, biking and hunting within the Wildlife Management Area during Archery and Small Game seasons. Wildlife viewing is also nice in the area.
