3 Comments on “Torreya State Park”

  1. Bud Hoth says:

We are presently at Torreya State Park. The campground is actually called Weeping Ridge campground. This campground opened on March 1 2019 after being hit by hurricane Micheal. The campsites are nice but the first 10 are close to each other and are 30 amp only. The sites are sand packed and you will see a lot of broken trees when looking over the valley.

  2. Lara Rienks says:

We are currently staying at Torreya State Park in site 27. The devastation from Hurricane Michael is still evident but the campground is nice. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Both sides back up to ravines which makes a nice backdrop for sleeping under the stars.

    • Hi Lara,
Thanks for the update on Torreya State Park, but sorry to hear there is still damage from Hurricane Michael. I’m sure it’ll take awhile to repair all the devastation.
