Andrew’s Cove Overview
Andrew’s Cove Campground has 10 campsites located in a heavily forested area and along a cool mountain stream in the Chattahooche-Oconee National Forest.
Campsites are best suited for tent camping. Each site has a table, lantern post, tent pad, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water (hand pump), vault toilets and trash collection.
Andrew’s Cove – Area Recreation and Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
The area also has a number of waterfalls and hiking trails. The Andrews Cove 1.9 mile hiking trail starts next to campsites 6 & 7 leads to a great place to get away and fish.
Other campgrounds in the area include the Upper Chattahoochee River Campground and Lake Winfield Scott Recreation Area.
