Big Hart Overview

Big Hart Campground has 31 single-family campsites and is located at the confluence of Big Creek and Hart Creek on the western end of J. Storm Thurmond Lake. Group camping is also available. Many of the campsites are next to the lake.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. All campsites have 50-amp electric hookups. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault and flush toilets, showers, a dump station, playground, beach, boat ramp and dock. Fish cleaning stations are also available.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, swimming, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
