Cooper Creek Recreation Area Campground has 25 campsites and is located on the banks of Cooper Creek in the North Georgia Mountains. A few sites are right next to the creek and campsite #24 is a group site. Some sites are tent only.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 35 feet). Each site also has a table, lantern post, fire ring and grill. Parking spurs are gravel. Campground amenities include drinking water (April 1 through October 31), vault toilets and trash collection.

Other campgrounds in the area include Deep Hole (11 miles away) and Morganton Point (13 miles away).

Cooper Creek – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hunting, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
