Magnolia Springs State Park Campground has 26 single-family campsites and is located next to the lake and close to the crystal-clear spring water that flows through the area. All have electric hookups and some of the campsites are water front! There are also 8 cottages, 8 picnic shelters, 2 group shelters, 1 pioneer camp and group cottages.

The campground has very large sites with quite a bit of room between other sites. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, laundry facilities and a dump station. There’s also 3 playgrounds, a seasonal splash pad, fishing dock, history center and WiFi available at the visitor center.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. In addition to water & electric hookups, each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.

Magnolia Springs State Park – Area Recreation & Info

Magnolia Springs State Park is known for its crystal clear springs flowing 7 million gallons per day.  Outdoor recreation includes fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

You may also like George L. Smith State Park or Hamburg State Park.

  1. We stayed at site 16. It was very uncomfortable because the site had a steep incline from front to back as well as being very uneven from side to side. We ended up moving to one of the few level sites in the middle of the night.
