Old Hwy 41 No 3 Overview

Old Hwy 41 No 3 Campground has 43 campsites (all with hookups) in a forested area next to Allatona Lake. Lake front campsites are available and the rest are near the water.

There are 43 campsites (37 single and 6 double) with water & electric (50-amp) hookups and 1 single-family site with full hookups. Each site also has a paved parking spur, picnic table, fire rings and charcoal grill.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, dump station and trash collection. There’s also a playground, basketball courts and firewood available to purchase from the camp host. Cell coverage is good in the area and there is also a day use area nearby.

You might also like McKinney Campground (also next to Allatona Lake) or McKaskey Creek Campground.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking and wildlife viewing.

The city of Acworth is nearby, offering restaurants, shopping, and a historic downtown area. Historic sites like the Etowah Indian Mounds and Booth Western Art Museum are a close drive to the city of Cartersville.
