Pink House Recreation Site Overview

Pink House Recreation Site is right along the Clearwater River and just below Dworshak Reservoir near Orofino, ID.

The beautiful BLM campground is open year round and has 18 first-come, first-serve campsites. Many sites have nice views of the Clearwater River. There are 15 with full hookups and a few tent-only sites.. Each site also has a paved parking spur (up to 40 feet), table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and trash collection. There’s also a day/use picnic area, sandy swim beach, boat ramp and boat trailer lot. Firewood is available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is good in the area.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. If you’re lucky, you may also see a river otter swimming by or see eagles soaring above.

Other campgrounds in the area include Dent Acres and Elk Creek.
