Shades State Park Overview

Shades State Park has 101 single-family campsites and is located in a wooded area about 17 miles southwest of Crawfordsville, IN. The campground is open year round and is a short hike from beautiful sandstone cliffs overlooking Sugar Creek.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush & pit toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. There’s also a picnic area, camp store, amphitheater and playground.
