Taylorsville Lake State Park – Area Recreation & Info

The lake is a favorite of both wranglers and anglers. Fishing is excellent and the 1,200-acre park encompasses some of the most beautiful riding country around, not far away from Kentucky’s biggest city. There is also a 16-mile trail system managed for mountain bikers, hikers and horseback riders.

If you’re heading north, you may want to check out Big Bone Lick State Historic Site (just south of Cincinnati).
