Paw Paw Tunnel Campsite Overview

Paw Paw Tunnel Campground has 10 campsites and is located at Mile 156 on the C&O Canal Towpath on the Maryland side of the Potomac River, across from the town of Paw Paw in West Virginia.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include drinking water (seasonal), vault toilets and trash collection. Cell service is fair in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Fifteen Mile Creek (7 miles) and Spring Gap (14 miles).

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
