Round Spring campground is located next to the crystal clear Current River in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways area. The area is famous for its many caves, springs, streams, rivers and sinkholes. Group camping is available.

The campground is open year-round and has 63 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs. Six sites have electric and water hookups. The campground also has a dump station, drinking water, flush toilets and showers (available from Apr 15 through October 1). Each campsites has a paved parking spur, lantern post, table, fire ring and grate.  Cell service is not available in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Alley Spring, Pulltite, Two Rivers and Akers. You might also like Echo Bluff State Park (Timbuktu Campground).

Round Spring – Area Recreation

The flows of the mighty Current River offers excellent canoeing, tubing, swimming and fishing. Over 130 miles of waterways exist within the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. You can also rent a canoe or kayak from a nearby outfitter. Other outdoor recreation includes hiking, mountain biking, picnicking, caving, climbing and wildlife viewing.  Ranger-led campfire programs are also offered in the campground during the summer months.

Pinewoods Lake campground is another option. It’s about 63 miles away and has 16 campsites on the north shore of the lake.
