George Payne Cossar State Park Overview

George Payne Cossar State Park campground has 83 single-family campsites and is located next to Enid Lake and close to Holly Springs National Forest. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.  There are 35 waterfront sites and 41 first-come, first-serve sites.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilet, hot showers ($), laundry facilities and a dump station. There is also a boat ramp, disc golf course, fishing cleaning station, picnic area/pavilion and playground. Ice and firewood are available for sale at the campground.

George P. Cossar State Park – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation includes boating, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hunting, hiking, biking and wildlife viewing.
