Bull River Campground is located next to Cabinet Gorge Reservoir in the Kootenai National Forest. The campground has 26 sites for tents, trailers and RVs (up to 40 feet).  Two of the sites are pull throughs. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.   The group campsite pavilion can be reserved.

The campground is open May 2 through November 30. All single-family campsites are first-come first-served. You can also stay up to 16 consecutive days in a row. Campground amenities include potable water, flush/vault toilets, playground, group pavilion, a boat ramp and dock.

Bull River – Area Recreation

The Kootenai National Forest includes 2.2 million acres and is an outdoor enthusiast’s playground. Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, downhill skiing, hiking, biking and picnicking. There’s also some great wildlife viewing opportunities in the area.

Big Arm / Flathead Lake State Park is another option if you’re traveling east. It’s about 116 miles away and has 39 campsites. You might also like Big Eddy Campground.
