Rattin Campground Custer National Forest Montana

Rattin Campground is located next to Rock Creek in the Custer-Gallatin National Forest and has 7 campsites for RVs, trailers and tents. There are no hookups at this small campground.  The campground sits in a forest of aspen and pine. Campsites 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7 are level.  Maximum RV/trailer length is 20 feet. Each campsite has a table, fire ring, grill and food storage locker.

Rattin – Area Recreation & Info

The campground is 7 miles south of Red Lodge, MT just off the scenic Beartooth Highway and offers a great base camp for fishing, mountain biking, hiking, wildlife viewing and scenic driving.   Rock Creek offers great rainbow trout fishing and Greenough Lake is 8 miles away.

Other campgrounds in the area include Basin, Cascade, Limber Pine, Parkside, Rattin, Sheridan and Greenough Lake.
