Echo Bay Upper 099

Echo Bay Campground is located in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area and is close to Lake Mead’s Overton Arm about 3 miles east of Highway 167.  All campsites are first-come, first-serve. The campground has a lower section and an upper section. Lower Echo Bay campground has 34 campsites and is closest to the water (about 3/4 mile). Upper Echo Bay campground has 112 campsites and is about 1.25 miles from the water.

Lake Mead RV Village Echo Bay is another option. It is a private RV park and is situated between Lower and Upper Echo Bay campgrounds. It has 53 full hookup campsites.

In addition to Echo Bay campground, the 7 other campgrounds in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area include Katherine Landing, Cottonwood Cove, Willow Beach, Temple Bar, Las Vegas Bay, Callville Bay and Boulder Beach.

5 Comments on “Echo Bay”

  1. How do I make a camp site reservation at echo. Lower area

  2. Stayed two nights in Upper campground open despite being told it was closed. Very well maintained by hard working and friendly volunteer ranger. Can be quite windy.

  3. Is Echo Bay camping still open? Also, dump station, water, and laundry?

    • Hi David,
Echo Bay Campground is open. However the boat ramp is closed due to the low water level. I assume water, dump station and laundry area all available/operating, but you may call to confirm: 702 293-8990
