Moffitt Beach Overview

Moffitt Beach campground is a large and popular destination with 248 campsites that are located next to Sacandaga Lake in Adirondack Park.  Most of the campsites are waterfront.

Campsites are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. the campground is in a forested area and amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers and a dump station. There’s also ice/firewood sales, a boat ramp, picnic area and pavilion, swimming area and recycling center.

Moffitt Beach – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Adirondack Park also offers visitors over 6 million acres to explore.   There are also many towns and villages, fine lodging, luxury resorts and family-friendly accommodations throughout the park.
