Camp Sherman Overview
Camp Sherman offers 15 single-family campsites and is next to the Metolius River in the Deschutes National Forest. The campground is open year-round with reservations accepted mid May to late September.
Campsites are large and can accommodate tents, trailers or RVs (up to 50′). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is also not available at the campground.
Camp Sherman – Area Recreation
Outdoor recreation includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the area include Allen Springs, Allingham, Lower Canyon Creek, Smiling River, Riverside, Jack Creek, Pine Rest and Gorge.
