Indian Ford Overview
Indian Ford Campground has 13 large campsites near Indian Ford Creek and just off Highway 126 about 6 miles from Sisters, OR. The (no frills) campground is generally used as a stopover for campers headed to other destinations.
Campsites are spread out and have plenty of room between neighbors. They can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 60 feet). Each site also has a parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Camp roads and parking spurs are gravel. Potable (drinking) water is not available. Cell service is good in the area.
Indian Ford – Area Recreation
This campground offers many opportunities for hiking and biking with the many trails nearby. The ponderosa pine forest provides shade as well as the chance to go bird or nature watching.
Other campgrounds in the area (within 20 miles) include Cold Springs, Riverside (Deschutes NF), Scout Lake, Jack Creek and Allen Springs.
