Lagoon Overview

Lagoon 013

Lagoon Campground has 40 campsites and is located next to a lagoon near the Siltcoos River among shorepine and huckleberry. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 88 feet). Up to 2 vehicles and 8 people allowed per site. There are 9 pull through sites.

Campground amenities include drinking water and flush toilets. There is no dump station or hookups available. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Cell service is rather poor.

Lagoon Area Recreation

The main attraction at Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area is the spectacular wind-sculpted sand dunes. Some of the dunes rise up to 500 feet above sea level. Outdoor recreation includes off roading, picnicking, sand play, hiking, biking fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and beach combing. Also, boating is available at Tahkenitch Lake and Siltcoos Lake. Wildlife viewing is also nice here!

Other Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area campgrounds include Bluebill, Spinreel, Tahkenitch and Waxmyrtle.
