  1. Carol Elkins says:

For campers viewing this site for Lava Lake Campground you should know the site fees have gone up over the years since this was posted. For full hook-up sites, it’s $28 ea. it is a private campground so they can raise their fees anytime.

  2. Janice Bernard says:

We’ve been calling 541-382-9443 to get reservations but the call won’t go through. So is 541-383-4000 the correct number? thanks

  3. Brandi Tran says:

Lava lake is a beautiful spot, but I wouldn’t recommend this spot to anyone because the hosts are very unpleasant and unwelcoming.

  4. Tallie Steele says:

Your description says all sites are on the lake, but the map on fs.usda shows only a couple next to the lake. I am curious which is correct.?.? (https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/fseprd684025.pdf).

    • Hi Tallie,
Thanks for pointing that out and you are correct. Only a few of Lava Lake campsites are close to the lake. We’ve made the correction in our description.

  5. Jay SB Andrews says:

There are no fish in the lake, it is excellent swimming.
