Little Crater Comments & Reviews
Visited Little Crater Campground lately? We'd love to hear about your adventure. Did you find us useful? Did we forget something? Anything our community should know before heading out to Little Crater?
Please note that campsitephotos.com pictures are not accurate for the camp site numbers shown. Been coming here for years and the park has re-assigned the numbers over time for various reasons. Other wise the photos are a nice feature.
Hi Brian,
Thanks for the heads up on Little Crater Campground. It does look like the renumbered a few of the campsites. Most of the photos we have are correct though. Still, I’ll make sure we get the renumbered campsites updated ASAP. Thanks again!
We just spent 3 nights at Little Crater Campground in site 5 (not shown), and IMO this is the best site in the campground. Right on the water, huge pull through site that accommodated our small 16 foot trailer, truck, friend’s truck with camper and small boat and trailer. Campground staff told us if we can fit the equipment in the area provided, we were welcome to put everyone in the site. Pit toilets were adequate and right across from site 5. There is a boat launch in the campground and we could moor our boat on the shore in front of our site. I would absolutely come back again. Views of the lake are unmatched!
Thanks for your review Stacy! I’ll see if we can get a photographer to get a photo of campsite #5. Not sure why we didn’t get it before, but probably because it was occupied and the camper didn’t want us to take a picture.
