Palisades (OR) Campground Oregon
Palisades (OR) Overview
Palisades Campground has 14 spacious campsites next to the beautiful Lower Crooked River and along the Lower Crooked Back Country Byway. The campground is open year-round and campsites are first-come, first serve. Reservations are not accepted at this BLM managed campground.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has a table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include a vault toilet and trash receptacles. A fishing pier is also located next to the campground. Potable water is available year-round at the upriver Chimney Rock Campground, 0.8 miles north on State Highway 27. Cell service is not available in the area.
Palisades Campground is one of several BLM campgrounds along the Crooked Wild and Scenic River. You might also like Stillwater, Lone Pine, Chimney Rock, Castle Rock, Cobble Rock, Post Pile, Poison Butte or Big Bend campgrounds.
Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
