Pine Meadows Overview

Pine Meadows Campground is next to Cottage Grove Lake in Oregon’s southern Willamette Valley and has 95 spacious campsites. Most campsites have lake views and the parking spurs range in size from 38 to 94 feet. The sites also are spread out with plenty of room between neighbors.

There are 80 developed campsites within the main campground (paved parking spurs and nicely maintained grounds), and 15 primitive campsites (A to O) in a loop adjacent to the main campground. These have dirt/gravel parking spurs.  Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.

The campground usually opens in mid May and closes in mid September. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, trash collection, a dump station, playground and swim areas.  A boat ramp is also available on the other side of the lake (about 3 miles from the campground). Cell service is good in the area.

Other nearby campgrounds include Schwarz Park next to Dorena Lake (7 miles) and Rujada (16 miles).

Outdoor recreating in the area includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking picnicking and wildlife viewing.
