Sand Prairie Overview
Sand Prairie Campground has 21 campsites set in a forest area and near the Middle Fork of the Willamette River in Willamatte National Forest.
The campground is generally open mid May to late September. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Single-family sites can have up to 6 people, 2 vehicles and 2 tents. Multi-family campsites can have up to 8 people, 3 vehicles and 3 tents.
Campground amenities include vault toilets and trash containers. Drinking water is not available. Cell service is also not available in the area. A group picnic area is nearby.

Sand Prairie – Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The Middle Fork Willamette Trail is at the south end of the campground.
