Schwarz Park Overview

Schwarz Park Campground has 65 campsites and is located below Dorena Lake and next to the Row River in Oregon’s Southern Willamette Valley. There are single-family, double-family and 6 group campsites available.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers ($), playground, trash collection and a dump station. Nearby Baker Bay County Park offers camping, a boat ramp and marina. Cell service is poor in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Pine Meadows (7 miles) and Rujada (13 miles).

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, horseback riding and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also good in the area.

The Row River Trail stretches 14 miles from downtown Cottage Grove, past the Dorena Dam and along the entire north side of the lake. This popular path is open for hiking, biking and horseback riding.
