Slide Creek Overview

Slide Creek Campground has 16 campsites in a wooded setting on the east bank of Cougar Reservoir. There are 14 single-family and 2 multi-family sites available.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets, overflow parking and trash collection. A boat ramp and swim beach are also at the campground (when the reservoir’s water is high enough).  A day use/picnic area is nearby and firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, swimming, water sports, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Terwilliger Hot Springs is also nearby if you want to soak in the warm water.

Other campgrounds in the area include Sunnyside, Cougar Crossing, Horse Creek Group and French Pete.
