South Twin Lake Campground Deschutes National Forest Oregon

South Twin Lake Campground has 22 campsites and is located next to the lake in the beautiful Deschutes National Forest. Some of the campsites are waterfront and all have beautiful views of the area.

The campground has drinking water and flush toilets. There’s also a boat ramp at the campground for non-motorized watercraft. Cell service is poor in the area.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 36 feet).  Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.

South Twin Lake Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation includes canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. A few trails will take you through lava flows and old-growth forests.

Other campgrounds in the area include Rock Creek, Gull PointNorth Twin Lake and Quinn River.
