Cheraw State Park Campground has 17 campsites with water & electric hookups in a wooded area overlooking Lake Juniper.  Six campsites are right on the waterfront and most are back-in (sites 3 and 14 are pull through). The campsites can accommodate tents, trailers, and RV’s (up to 40 feet).  There are also primitive boat-in campsites, group camping and 8 cabins for rent.  Each campsite also has a table, fire ring, and grill.

Cheraw State Park campground has drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, trash collection, a dump station and camp store. The Park also has an 18-hole championship Golf Course, a gift shop, playground, and volleyball courts.

Cheraw State Park – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation includes golfing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

And you may also want to check out Little Pee Dee State Park.  It’s about 60 miles south/east and has 50 campsites with water & electric hookups.

    Love the park. Bath house clean with hot water. Only issue was the site had slop near the edge where the fire ring was. Making it difficult to sit safely and enjoy the fire. The view from the site (12) is great. Definitely going back but not site 12.

    A correction for Cheraw State Park information. All sites are NOT pull through. Only #3 & 14. The rest are nice roomy back in sites.
