Croft State Park Campground South Carolina

Croft State Park Overview

Once an army training base, Croft State Park covers more than 7,000 acres of rolling, wooden terrain and has 50 campsites (all with water & electric hookups).  The park offers lakes, creeks, 20 miles of hiking, equestrian and biking trails, a playground and picnic areas.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 40 feet). There are 25 sites (1-25) with 50-amp electric and 25 sites (26-50) with 20/30/50-amp electric service. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.

Campground/park amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, a dump station, trash collection, camp store/gift shop, boat ramp and WiFi. A large show ring, suitable for most any type of equestrian event, is available for use at the park. The show ring is an outdoor arena with lights.  Canoe, kayak and fishing boat rentals are available.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating (electric trolling motors), kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, fishing, horseback riding, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. There is also a SCDNR shooting range located just outside of the park gate. It is open T-Sa from 9am-5pm. You must bring your own equipment.
