Tims Ford State Park Overview

Tims Ford State Park campground has 52 spacious campsites next to a cove on Tim’s Ford Lake. All sites have water & electric hookups (30-amp), a table, fire ring and grate. Twenty cabins are also available to rent.

Campsites can have up to 6 people per site, and 1 RV and 1 tent, or 2 tents per site. Two of the campsites are ADA compliant and are set aside for that reason. Maximum stay is 14 days March through November. Maximum stay is 28 days December, January and February.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, laundry facilities, dump station and a camp store. The camp store also has WiFi.  The park also has a swimming pool, recreation center, playground, marina, boat ramp, volleyball and basketball courts, restaurant, snack bar and Bear Trace 18-hole golf course. Cell service is fair in the area.

The 1,32-acre park offers a variety of fun activities including boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking, biking golfing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. There’s also many special events scheduled throughout the year.
