Buckhorn Creek Overview

Buckhorn Creek Campground has 95 campsites situated on the eastern side of Lake O’ The Pines in east Texas. There are 57 spacious sites with water & electric hookups as well as 38 tent sites (no hookups).

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, a dump station and trash collection. There is also a playground, swim beach, fishing dock, boat trailer parking and boat ramp available. Cell service is good in the area. Each campsite also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring, grill and lantern post (tent sites).

Other campgrounds next to Lake O’ The Pines include Brushy Creek, Johnson Creek Camp and Alley Creek Camp.

Buckhorn Creek – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, swimming, water sports, fishing, hiking, biking, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
