Little Mill Campground Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Utah

Little Mill Overview

Little Mill Campground American Fork River View

Little Mill Campground is located along the American Fork River and has 26 campsites (including 1 group).  All single family sites and a few of the group sites are along the river. Most sites have good shade from aspen, oak and maple trees. The campground is also next to the 20-mile Alpine Loop Scenic Byway so you may have some traffic noise.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVS.  Sites 19 and 21 also have yurts (in season). Sites 11-17 are tent only (walk-to / about 40-60 feet). Camp roads and parking spurs are paved. The parking spurs range in size from 15 to 45 feet, with one (pull through) at 55 feet. Campground amenities include vault toilets. Drinking water is not available. Cell service is also not available. Firewood can be purchased from the camp host.

The group site has parking for 10 vehicles and can accommodate up to 50 people. There are 9 single sites (28 to 36) within the group area.  It also  has vault toilets, a group pavilion, tent pads, fire pits and picnic tables. The parking areas are paved.

Other campgrounds in the area include Altamont (Group), Timpooneke and Granite Flat.
