Belle Isle State Park Overview

Belle Isle SP Canoe Launch

Belle Isle State Park campground is located next to the Rappahannock River and has 32 large campsites for tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has electric hookups, a table, fire ring, grate and lantern post. The campground has restroom with flush toilets, hot showers ($), a laundry facility and a store. A dump station is also available. Firewood, ice, food and other supplies can be purchased at the camp store.

Located in the rural Northern Neck of Virginia, Belle Isle State Park includes 892 acres and 7 miles of shoreline on the beautiful lower Rappahannock River in Lancaster County. The park also borders Deep and Mulberry creeks. The area features diverse tidal and non-tidal wetlands, lowland marshes, tidal coves and upland forests.

Belle Isle State Park – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, biking, horseback riding and wildlife viewing. Bike, canoe and kayaking rentals are also available.

Westmoreland State Park is just 40 miles away and is located next to the Potomac River. The campground has 164 mixed-use campsites.
