Occoneechee State Park Comments & Reviews
Visited Occoneechee State Park Campground lately? We'd love to hear about your adventure. Did you find us useful? Did we forget something? Anything our community should know before heading out to Occoneechee State Park?
Visited your beautiful park on October 1, and found that it was as pretty as the pictures indicate. Only thing was that, my husband and I arrived around 4:00 pm and no one was around. The entry guardhouse was closed and had to pay in a honor system envelop, which we did, tried to go to the park office / gift shop to get info and gifts ,but was closed and no one was around. The website says it closes at dusk.
