Brighton State Park campground 84 campsites (including 23 lean-to sites) right on the shores of spectacular Spectacle Pond. The location is remote and beautiful with mountains, forests, streams and lakes to explore.   There are also 5 cottages available to rent.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs, but the tent-only sites are 6, 23, 26, 52, 53 and 63. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($), a delightful dump station and trash collection. There’s also a boat ramp, boat rentals, nature museum, picnic area, playground, hiking trails and historic sites to explore.  Firewood is available to purchase at the campground. Cell service is also good in the area.

Brighton State Park – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, camping, bike riding and wildlife viewing.

Lake Carmi State Park is 69 miles to the east and close to the border. It has 170 campsites (including 35 lean-to sites).
