Cottonwood – Naches River (WA) Overview

Cottonwood (Naches River) Campground has 16 campsites and is located along the Naches River within the Wenatache-Okanogan National Forest. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Some sites are tent-only. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. The campground is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Cell service is not available in the area.

Cottonwood (Naches River) – Area Recreation & Activities

Visitors can enjoy an abundance of outdoor recreation activities including fishing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, picnicking and backpacking. The nearby American River also has whitewater rafting.

The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest’s offer spectacular hiking, backpacking, fishing and other activities. It consists of beautiful alpine peaks, lush valleys and old-growth forest. Wildlife viewing is also great here.
