Panorama Point Overview

Panorama Point 006

Panorama Point campground has 16 campsites and is located on the western shore of Baker Lake in the beautiful Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Several campsites are also located right on the shoreline of the lake.

There are 9 reservable sits and 7 that are first-come first-served. The campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite also has a table, firing and grate.  Our favorite campsites are 1, 5, 6, 11, 13 and 14.

Panorama Point campground is usually open May through mid-September and has drinking water, vault toilets and firewood for sale from the campground host. There’s also a day-use/picnic area and boat ramp on the lake. The campground offers a prime location for hiking, boating, canoeing, kayaking, water sports, swimming, fishing, picnicking and horseback riding. The area is also a popular for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months.

Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest

Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is one of the most visited forests in the country and is located east of Seattle, on the west side of the Cascades. Just between the Canadian border and Mt. Rainier National Park. Visitors will find glacier-covered peaks, spectacular mountain meadows and old-growth forests.

  1. Wondering when reservations open for this site and how far in advance you can book? Thanks.

    • Hi Kate,
We updated the Panorama Point campground page and now you can click on the “Make A Reservation” to check availability and make a reservation. For Panorama Point, you can make reservations 6 months prior to the day of your arrival. For example, if you were planning on arriving July 1, then the first day you could make a reservation is on January 1.

  2. Steve Ruhl says:

Why is there not a map with the location of the campsites on this page ??

  3. Is there a pay phone anywhere nearby

  4. Can I leave a boat trailer overnight at the boat launch?
