Wallace Falls State Park Overview

Wallace Falls State Park Picnic Area

Wallace Falls State Park has 2 walk-to tent campsites and 5 cabins located near the Wallace River.  Backcountry camping is also available (permits required for Jay Lake and Wallace Lake).

The campsites are 20 to 50 feet form the parking area and offer good privacy. Each site also has a tent pad, table, fire ring and grill. Both campsites are first-come, first serve. Two restrooms are nearby and showers are also available ($). Cell service is good.

The five cabins at Wallace Falls State Park are within walking distance of the Woody Trail, which provides access to Wallace Falls and Wallace Lake. Each cabin features a 6-foot covered front porch, picnic table, fire pit, barbecue stand, electric heat, lights, and locking doors. Each cabin is furnished with bunk beds that sleep three and a full-size futon bed for two. Two of the cabins have two rooms, and two of the cabins have a ramp that is ADA accessible. Pets are allowed in cabins 3 and 4 with a $15 (plus tax) pet fee per night.

Wallace Falls State Park – Area Recreation & Activities

The 1,380-acre park is located on the west side of the Cascades and features a spectacular 265-foot waterfall, old-growth forests, rivers, streams and lakes.Outdoor recreation includes hiking, backpacking, rock-climbing, swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing. Snowshoeing is also popular in the winter months.
