I love Lake Kegonsa Campground but when you eliminated the nonreservable spots you ended camping in a state park for me. I cannot always plan ahead so really enjoyed the last minute head to the campground and get a electrical spot. I will probably not even bother to buy a State Park Sticker next year. Too bad because my family has a lot of great memories from the State Parks.

    • Hi Sheryl,
Sorry to hear about the change of policy regarding first-come, first-serve campsites at Lake Kegonsa State Park. It would be nice if Parks would keep at least some as non-reservable/walk-in sites.

    • richard bryant says:

i agree, all the sites are taken by computer savy people , zero non reservable site,, it really sucks so bad im going to sell my camper,, the state does not give a crap about the elderly,, the handicapped,, or any other person that is not really fast on the computer,, wtf happened and what idiots made these changes???

      • Definitely unfair. Out in California a bill has been introduced to change the current system into more of a lottery system for campsite reservations. This would be for state parks/campgrounds.
