Riffle Run Overview
Riffle Run Campground has 60 spacious campsites (54 with full hookups) and is located less than 1/2 mile from Burnsville Lake (marina/boat ramp) in the middle of scenic West Virginia.
The campground is generally open mid April to late November. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, laundry facilities, trash collection and a dump station. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. There’s also a 2 playgrounds (with sports courts), boat ramp and trailer parking lot. Cell service is poor in the area, although Wifi is available at the campground.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There are 54 sites with full hookups and 6 primitive (no hookup) sites. Each site also has a paved parking spur, table, lantern post, fire ring and grill.
Riffle Run Campground – Area Recreation and Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking, hunting, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the area include Gerald Freeman, Bee Run, Bulltown Camp and Bakers Run.
